Portraits in Watercolour
By painting pets in watercolour I can achieve a realistic style which I feel is more distinctive than the classic use of pastel or oil. Watercolour captures the spirit of the subject while still maintaining the integrity and intensity of a painting.
I do paint pet portraits from photographs. When possible I prefer to take the photographs myself, but ultimately the client chooses which photos I work from.
Most commissions can be completed within two months, if not earlier. However, If you wish to order a portrait in time for Christmas it is important to give me as much notice as possible.
